Job Requirements

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

  • Diploma in a field of Agricultural Engineering such as Soil and Water, Mechanization/Farm Power, Structures, Surveying or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;

OR

  • Technician Part III certificate in a field of Agricultural Engineering such as Soil and Water, Mechanization/Farm Power, Structures, Surveying or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • An officer at this level will work under the guidance and close supervision of a senior officer.  Specific duties will involve provision of agricultural engineering works, services, and mechanization extension.
