Job Description

Kmatt Supermarket is seeking a qualified, experienced, and results-oriented Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing and production to join its team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and accounting records.
• Monitor production costs, cost of goods manufactured, and cost of sales.
• Prepare and analyse production cost reports and budgets.
• Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliations.
• Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Prepare timely management reports and monitor expenditure.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, stores, and management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA (K), ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification is an added advantage.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, production costing, and cost control.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
