We’re looking for a creative and digitally savvy Social Media Manager Assistant who understands audiences, creates compelling content, drives conversations and uses data to turn social media activity into measurable impact
Responsibilities:
- Publish Facebook statuses and trending/breaking stories on social media platforms
- Moderate and respond to messages on all TUKO’s inboxes and DMs
- Interact with TUKO’s Facebook readers in the comments section of top-performing posts by responding to their comments and adding questions in the comments section
- Respond to reviews/recommendations and posts in the community section of our Facebook pages
- Moderate comments on the TUKO App on the Google Play Store
- Share all posts and other requests from the marketing team and project leads
- Execute all special projects for the company
- Moderate comments on TUKO’s website
- Perform any other tasks assigned under this role.
Requirements:
- Proven experience and/or expertise in management of digital news social media platforms
- Degree in any media and communication field
- Knowledge of social media publishing
- Copywriting skills
- Ability to work with photo-editing software (Figma, Canva)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Impeccable communication and interviewing skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to go the extra mile
- Work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work remotely (good internet connection and a laptop, minimum Intel Core i3).
