Logistics Officer – eMobility at M-KOPA

We are looking for a Logistics Officer to support our day-to-day logistics and transport operations as we continue to scale our Mobility division across Kenya.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinating inbound and outbound movement of vehicles and mobility assets between OEMs, warehouses, dealers, and retail outlets — including number plate transfers and reconciliations
  • Executing delivery schedules, interbranch transfers, and asset returns, with a focus on timely and cost-efficient distribution
  • Providing oversight and coordination of corporate taxi services, including Little Cab, airport transfers, car hire arrangements, and associated vendor payments
  • Tracking and reconciling daily stock movements and supporting monthly stock takes and reconciliation processes
  • Monitoring corporate cab and staff transport usage, and supporting fleet maintenance coordination, swap reconciliations, and vehicle availability tracking
  • Reporting accidents, incidents, or breakdowns promptly and following up as guided to maintain fleet uptime
  • Liaising with Sales, Customer Experience, Retail Operations, Finance, and technical teams to ensure timely fulfilment and communicating any delays, damages, or incidents to relevant stakeholders
  • Preparing and submitting logistics documentation including delivery notes, waybills, fuel records, repair documents, and expense support
  • Ensuring all logistics activities comply with approved transport, fleet, and safety policies — including verifying that drivers, riders, and vehicles hold valid licences, insurance, and statutory documents before deployment
  • Supporting incident reporting, audits, and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

This is an on-site role based in Nairobi, Kenya. You will be reporting to the Inventory Manager.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends when necessary
  • Nice to have: prior exposure to working with transport vendors or drivers; experience supporting inventory movements and logistics documentation
