Job Purpose
To provide high-quality physiotherapy services through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment aimed at restoring function, relieving pain, preventing disability, and improving patients overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer physiotherapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and mobility training.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation, prevention, and home-based care programs.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention, safety, and professional standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Maintain physiotherapy equipment and ensure proper utilization.
- Participate in departmental initiatives, quality improvement programs, and continuous professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy healthcare setting.
- Registered with the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)
- Valid practicing license
