Transfer Driver – Mombasa, Kenya
Africa Safari Trips is seeking a qualified and professional Transfer Driver to join its team in Mombasa, Kenya.
Responsibilities
- Transport clients to and from destinations while ensuring punctual pick-up and drop-off.
- Deliver excellent customer service, including assisting with luggage and maintaining professionalism.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, conduct routine inspections, and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure all vehicle documentation is valid and comply with traffic and safety regulations.
- Monitor and control vehicle-related costs, including fuel usage and maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with the transport office and stay informed on routes and travel conditions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s License (PSV) and TRA License.
- 3–5 years of proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in the tours and travel or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, defensive driving techniques, and basic first aid.
- Practical experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Good knowledge of Kenya’s geography, history, and wildlife, with the ability to engage and inform clients effectively.
