Commis Chef (Upcoming Branch)
CJ’s Restaurant is looking for passionate and motivated Commis Chefs to join the culinary team at its upcoming branch. This role is ideal for culinary graduates and aspiring chefs eager to build their careers in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment while contributing to exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Assist with station stocking, ingredient preparation, chopping, butchering, and sauce preparation.
- Kitchen Operations: Work closely with the culinary team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality dishes during service.
- Food Safety & Compliance: Maintain daily HACCP compliance and uphold strict sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Station Management: Support inventory management, station organization, cleanup activities, and effective teamwork within the kitchen.
Requirements
- Fresh culinary graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- An additional advantage for candidates with at least one year of fine-dining kitchen experience.
- Culinary school diploma or degree.
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and develop professionally.
- Solid foundational culinary skills and knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation, sanitation, and quality control.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment.
