Coordinator, KRPON Program
Are you an experienced perioperative nurse with a passion for teaching and mentoring? AIC Kijabe Hospital is seeking a Coordinator, KRPON Program to provide leadership, coordinate the Kenya Registered Perioperative Nursing (KRPON) Program, and ensure excellence in nursing education and clinical training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee implementation of the KRPON curriculum.
- Support planning, management, and monitoring of the program budget.
- Supervise learning resources and clinical training environments.
- Develop teaching timetables and clinical rotation plans.
- Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Implement and oversee student mentorship programs.
- Participate in classroom and clinical teaching, assessment, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with other departments to support effective program delivery.
Qualifications:
- Higher Diploma in Kenya Registered Perioperative Nursing.
- Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience, including at least 3 years in teaching/lecturing or 3 years as an educational institution administrator.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
- Good understanding of national nursing education standards.
