Plainsview Hospital is hiring a Human Resource Intern to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resource Department. Reporting directly to the Human Resource Business Partner, the intern will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, attendance tracking, HR reporting, and employee engagement while gaining hands-on experience in a busy hospital environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Holds a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Experience Level: Must be a recent graduate in Human Resource Management.
- Technical Skills: Good computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and basic data entry.
- Core Knowledge: Foundational understanding of HR functions, labor relations, recruitment processes, employee records, and HR administration.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, take initiative, follow instructions, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
